The technical language of old texts is very important in research on the history of science and technology. Most often, the technical language of a historical period is reflected in the administrative documents of the entity under study. The village of Stroeşti – Argeş has the advantage of having its documents published over a period of 525 years since its first written attestation. The documentary tracking of the evolution of the Stroeşti – Argeş estate provides researchers with a valuable case study regarding the evolution of technical and administrative language over the last half-millennium. The results, discussions, and conclusions of this study are important because they create new guidelines and open up avenues for investigation and interpretation in the field of Romanian science and technology history.
