This year marks 160 years since Professor Dragomir Hurmuzescu’s birth. This article is a continuation of articles published in the journals Studies and Communications/DHS, vol. V/2022, vol. VI/2023 and vol. VII/2024 and in the journal Academica, published by the Romanian Academy, no. 4–5/April-May 2023, out of a personal desire to evoke the memory of this highly appreciated professor at national and international level. From this point of view, the present article presents aspects of Professor Hurmuzescu’s activity recorded in newspapers in order to give the reader an overview of his personality.
