This article is a continuation of articles published in the journal Studies and Communications/DIS vol. XV/2022 and vol.VI/2023 and in the ACADEMICA Magazine, no. 4–5, April‑May 2023, published by the Romanian Academy, out of a personal desire to evoke the memory of a great Romanian Professor, appreciated not only at national but also at international level – Dragomir Hurmuzescu.The activity of Professor Dragomir Hurmuzescu went beyond the realm of teaching and scientific research into another realm, the political one, not out of the attraction exerted by the program of a particular political party, but out of the expressed desire to contribute to the causal change of the conditions that generated shortcomings in education, especially in experimental education. In this sense, the article will present some of the aspects of Professor Hurmuzescu’s work in the political field, in order to create for the reader a broad picture of his personality.
