Tributary for a long time to the archaic fund of concepts and ideas, but always willing to innovate, the traditional mentality will also introduce certain technical innovations into the Romanian fantastic fairy tale. That is right, molded on its own fund of understanding, representation and symbolization. In the present study I try to present, systematically, a series of such technical innovations brought into the fairy tale narrative. Based on the situations detected in the fairy tale anthologies consulted, we divided these technical innovations into weapons, means of locomotion, modern technical realities (jobs, institutions, services), ideas concepts of technical modernity. Then, to see to what extent these condition divert or remodel the cultural memory, respectively the traditional fairy tale imaginary. All followed, naturally, by a series of conclusions.
